In the occupied territory of the Luhansk region, the occupation regime continues to exert pressure on the population of the occupied region who show signs of disloyalty to the Russian occupation forces and the enemy administration, according to the National Resistance Center.

According to information from the Ukrainian Resistance Movement, the primary focus is on residents who previously served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or were active volunteers during the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) and Joint Forces Operation (JFO).

The occupation "administration" is concerned about the activities of the Ukrainian underground, which is why there is an increased counterintelligence regime in the occupied region.

However, the Resistance Movement has a wide network in the occupied territories of the Luhansk region and is ready to carry out assigned tasks," emphasized the center.

The situation in the Luhansk region

Despite the prolonged occupation in the captured part of the Luhansk region, guerrilla fighters continue to operate, providing assistance to our military. Local residents also help Ukrainian soldiers identify important targets for striking enemy assets, personnel, and equipment.

In the region, partisans conduct diversions. For example, in May, there was an explosion in Luhansk that resulted in injuries to the so-called "Acting Minister of Internal Affairs" of the "LPR," (Luhansk People's Republic) Igor Kornet. Prior to that, railway tracks in the Luhansk region were sabotaged, disrupting the transportation of Russian equipment.

Recently, the National Resistance Center reported that occupiers in the Luhansk region have intensified repression and are trying to identify representatives of the Resistance Forces and the Ukrainian underground.
