Russian troops strike Dnipropetrovsk region with missiles, injuring two
On the evening of 2 July, the Russian occupiers attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with a missile. Although the Ukrainian air defense system shot it down, people were injured, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
"A 75-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized in moderate condition. A 77-year-old man also became ill due to severe stress. He was provided with the necessary medical care," he says.
The attack also caused damage to residential buildings.
"In one of the region's districts, windows, doors, and roofs of seven private houses were smashed," adds Lysak.
Russian shelling of Dnipro
Russian troops regularly shell the Dnipropetrovsk region and Dnipro city in particular.
On 28 June, Russia shelled Dnipro. The Russian occupiers attacked a high-rise building, destroying apartments from the 8th to the 11th floor. As a result, 13 people were injured and one person was killed.
During the Russian shelling of Dnipro on 1 July, 7 people were injured, including a teenager.
