Russian troops massively attack Kharkiv
There were explosions in Kharkiv this morning, January 2. The city is under a massive missile attack. An air alert has been declared throughout Ukraine, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"There was an explosion in Kharkiv," the message says.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, says that the Russians struck at Kharkiv.
Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a threat of ballistic missile attacks on Kharkiv.
Later, the mayor added that Kharkiv was under a massive missile attack. He urged people to take cover.
