Russians intensify assaults with armored vehicles near the town of Selydove, Donetsk region. Ukrainian soldiers are stopping Russia's attacks, according to Vitalii Milovidov, Lieutenant Colonel of the 15th Kara-Dah Ukrainian National Guard Brigade.

He notes that around Selydove in the area of responsibility of the 15th Brigade, there was no day without a Russian assault.

“Russian infantry continues to advance to varying degrees every day. Attempts to advance with armored vehicles have intensified. In several cases it was 2-3 units, there were also attempts at a more massive assault involving 8 units of equipment that were eliminated on the outskirts of our positions,” says Lieutenant Colonel.

According to the serviceman, Russians were most active in the southern direction of Tsukuryno-Ukrainsk, where they were trying to find a weak spot in the defense.

“Every day Russia tries to advance. But more equipment is being deployed to the south. I believe that it is there that they are trying to move with equipment in a more geographically advantageous way, as it is very difficult for them to pass this section of Mykhailivka, which almost does not exist anymore. There are open areas there and we quickly detect them and inflict fire damage,” notes Milovidov.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces reported that the Russians are not preparing for winter, but are trying to achieve their goals before the cold weather.
