Russia isn't preparing for winter at front, tries to advance before cold - Ukrainian Armed Forces
Russian troops are not preparing for winter on the front lines. Instead, the occupiers are trying to achieve their objectives before the cold sets in, citing the spokesperson for the operational-tactical group Luhansk, Anastasiia Bobovnikova.
"According to our intelligence, the enemy is not preparing for the winter period. They are trying to make the most of the dry weather currently present in the Donetsk region," she said.
According to her, Russian invaders are using artillery, FPV drones, and other available means of attack in hopes of achieving some objectives before the cold weather arrives.
The spokesperson said that Ukrainian forces, in contrast to the enemy, are conducting preparations for the upcoming winter. As a result, it will be much harder for the Russians to storm Ukrainian positions with the onset of frost.
Frontline situation
In recent months, Russian troops have been actively advancing on the front lines. The enemy is pressing near Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and the Kharkiv region. Recently, Defense Forces withdrew from Vuhledar in the Donetsk region to avoid encirclement.
According to British intelligence, the Russians will continue to exert pressure in this area to advance toward Zaporizhzhia.
