Russian forces struck a fire-rescue vehicle with an FPV drone, injuring one person, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service on Telegram.
On October 23, Russian troops carried out the FPV drone attack on the fire-rescue vehicle after it had extinguished a fire in Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region.
One firefighter sustained a shoulder injury and blast-related trauma and was transported to a hospital. The other emergency responders were unharmed.
The fire-rescue vehicle was also damaged.
“This is yet another example of deliberate attacks by the occupiers on rescuers - people who risk their own lives every day to save others,” the State Emergency Service of Ukraine stated.
