Russia strikes Ukraine's Kharkiv region: One rescuer killed, five more wounded

In the Kharkiv region, a rescuer was killed and five of his colleagues were wounded as a result of a repeated Russian strike, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
On the night of October 23, while extinguishing a fire caused by an enemy drone strike in the village of Zelenyi Hai, Velykyi Burluk community, Kupiansk district, Russian terrorists repeatedly shelled the area where rescuers were working.
As a result of the Russian strike, the commander of the 43rd State Fire and Rescue Unit of the 4th State Fire and Rescue Brigade of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, Chief Master Sergeant of the Civil Protection Service Yurii Chystikov, was killed. He was 50 years old.
Five other rescuers were injured.
Russian strikes on Kharkiv
Russia struck a kindergarten in Kharkiv on October 22. 10 people were injured, including a child. One of the kindergarten employees was killed.
At around 11 a.m. Kyiv time, Russian troops attacked the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with three Shahed drones. One of them hit a kindergarten building where 48 children were present. During the alarm, the children were taken to a shelter.
Russian strike set fire to the kindergarten, a shop, a cafe, an office building, and several cars. Three fires broke out, the largest of which was in the kindergarten building, covering an area of about 500 square meters.
The day before, on October 21, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. As a result of the Russian strikes, 11 people were injured.
The Russians have been attacking Kharkiv frequently lately, using various weapons for their attacks. In particular, strike drones, missiles, and guided aerial bombs.
