"The Russian army attacked a kindergarten in the Shumenskyi microdistrict of Kherson. Previously, one person was injured. The information is being clarified," says Oleksandr Prokudin, head of Kherson Regional Military Administration.
In addition, according to the head of the Regional Military Administration, as a result of the shelling that took place around 11:00, the walls of the building were damaged and the windows were broken.
As Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, adds, the injured woman is 57 years old.
"She was on the street at the time of the shelling. Currently, the injured woman has been hospitalized," he says.
Shelling of Kherson and the region
Russian troops are constantly shelling Kherson and the region. The situation with the attacks on the right bank by invaders is so serious that it is under the control of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
