If Ukraine can counter Russian attacks by 100%, there will no longer be any sense in the terror of Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports.

Zelenskyy noted that overnight, Russia continued to strike Ukrainian communities and energy facilities. The attacks targeted the Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions.

The main targets are energy facilities and critical infrastructure that ensure people's normal lives: heat and electricity.

"Right now, our top priority is strengthening our air defense, first of all, missiles for the systems. Partner contributions to the PURL program are needed, as well as support from stockpiles in Europe and faster implementation of agreements with America," the president emphasized.

He noted that it is very important now to strengthen Ukrainian soldiers.

"If we can fully counter these Russian attacks, there will be no sense in Putin's terror anymore. This is their current advantage, and Russia is relying on it. We must deprive it of this. This can work and force Russia to stop the killings and move toward peace," Zelenskyy added.

Attack on Ukraine on January 14

On the night of January 14, Russia attacked Ukraine with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 113 strike drones from various directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most enemy targets, but there were also hits.

Hits by two ballistic missiles and 24 strike drones were recorded at 13 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at three locations.

In the morning, air raid alerts were declared twice in Kyiv due to the threat of drones. Air defense was operating in the capital.

Also overnight, Russian forces carried out an attack with strike UAVs on an infrastructure facility in Kryvyi Rih.

During the day, Russian troops again attacked Kryvyi Rih with strike UAVs, and explosions were heard in the city.
