On the night of January 14, Russia attacked Ukraine with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 113 strike drones from different directions. Ukrainian defense forces shot down most of the enemy targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

From 6:30 p.m. Kyiv time on January 13 to the morning of January 14, the Russians attacked Ukraine with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov and Voronezh regions of Russia and 113 Shahed, and Gerbera strike drones and other types of drones from the following directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, Chauda, Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

About 70 of the drones launched were Shahed.

Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down/suppressed one ballistic missile and 89 Russian Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the east and north of Ukraine.

Russian ballistic missiles and 24 drones were recorded hitting 13 locations, as well as the fall of downed (fragments of) drones in three locations.

"Russian attack continues, with several Russian drones in the airspace. Follow the safety rules!" warns the Ukrainian Air Force.

Russian strikes on Ukraine

On Wednesday, January 14, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv. Shortly thereafter, air defense systems were activated in the capital.

Also that night, the Russians attacked an infrastructure facility in Kryvyi Rih.

On the night of January 13, Russian troops launched nearly 300 drones and dozens of missiles of various types at Ukraine.

At around 2 a.m., Kyiv was attacked with Russian ballistic missiles, and explosions were heard in the city. Later, in the early morning, the city was again subjected to rocket fire.

Kharkiv, Odesa, and Kryvyi Rih also came under Russian fire last night. There are reports of casualties, injuries, and significant damage. In particular, four people were killed in Kharkiv as a result of a Russian strike on the Nova Poshta post terminal.
