Russian forces carried out yet another drone attack on Odesa Oblast on the night of August 13. As a result of the attack, port infrastructure came under fire, according to the Telegram channel of the Izmail District State Administration.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, groups of Russian strike drones were heading toward Odesa Oblast from approximately the start of the new day. After 01:12, they were detected near Izmail.

The attack was later confirmed by the Izmail District State Administration's operational headquarters.

"On the night of August 13, the enemy again attacked the Izmail district. The adversary struck port infrastructure. As a result of the attack, there is damage and a fire broke out," the statement reads.

It added that State Emergency Service units are currently working to eliminate the consequences.

Other attacks on the Odesa region

On the night of August 11, Russia attempted to attack Odesa using drones. As a result of the attack, a residential building was damaged.

On the night of August 9, not only drones but also ballistic missiles hit the city. At that time, the enemy attack caused destruction, and parts of the city were left without electricity and water.

A little later, it emerged that Russian forces had very seriously damaged the region's energy infrastructure.
