Odesa residential buildings damaged in Russian strike

On the night of August 11, Russia attacked Odesa. As a result of the strike, an apartment on the fifth floor of a residential building was damaged, according to a Telegram post by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
The attack on Odesa was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Serhii Lysak — according to him, a residential building was preliminarily affected, with details still being clarified at the time.
Subsequently, it became known that an apartment on the fifth floor had been damaged. The owners were not home at the time of the strike, so no reports of casualties have been received so far.
All emergency and utility services are working at the scene, and an operational command post has been established.

On the night of August 9, Russian forces carried out a combined strike on the city using drones and ballistic missiles — resulting in destruction and casualties. On the same day, parts of the city were left without electricity and water supply, and tram service was temporarily suspended.
It later emerged that Odesa's energy infrastructure had been more severely damaged than initially apparent, meaning that restoring power would take longer than expected.
