Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia wounds 10-year-old boy and his father

The Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, launched on the afternoon of June 6, hit a supermarket building. A child was among those injured, Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov reported.
He said the strike hit the roof of one of the supermarkets within the city.
The strike also sparked a fire in an apartment building located opposite the impact site.
A 10-year-old boy was among the injured. The child suffered an arm injury and was admitted to the hospital.
The boy's father was also injured in the attack.

Both survivors are currently receiving the necessary medical treatment.
Earlier on the morning of June 6, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with strike drones. Critical and industrial infrastructure facilities across the city were targeted.
The attack killed two employees of a local enterprise. A woman was also injured after a drone strike sparked a fire in a parking lot near a residential building. In addition, damage to infrastructure facilities was reported across the city.
