On Saturday morning, June 6, Russian units struck Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, destruction was recorded, and there are known casualties, according to the Telegram channel of the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

According to him, as of 6:37 a.m. Kyiv time, Russian forces were launching drones at the city center. Critical and industrial infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia were in the crosshairs.

"As a result of the enemy attacks, damage has been inflicted on critical and industrial infrastructure facilities. Two workers at one of the facilities have not made contact after the attack," the statement reads.

Later, Fedorov clarified that the two men who had not made contact are dead. Their bodies have already been found.

Other attacks

Just a week ago, on the night of May 29, Russian forces also struck Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out, and multi-story buildings were damaged, specifically windows and balconies.

In addition, on the night of May 5, Russian units attacked Zaporizhzhia with aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, cars, a store, and an enterprise caught fire, and residential buildings were damaged.

As a result of the attack on April 2, damage to a multi-story building and a municipal enterprise was recorded in the city due to the blast wave.
