Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia: Teenager killed, 6 injured
As a result of yesterday's Russian shelling of the Zaporizhzhya district, 6 children were injured and one teenager was killed. In addition, three other people were wounded, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Yesterday, five people were reported injured in the village of Malokaterynivka as a result of a Russian artillery strike on a children's cafe.
There were four children among them: 11, 14, 15, and 17 years old, and a girl, aged 18. And one boy was reported killed.
This morning, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that the number of victims in the area had increased.
"A 14-year-old boy was killed, 6 more children were injured - boys aged 17, 16, 15, 14 and girls aged 10 and 11. A 28-year-old man and women aged 18 and 45 were also injured. These are the unfortunate consequences of Russian shelling of Zaporizhzhia district," the official says.

During the day, the Russian invaders fired 303 times at 12 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. In particular:
- 3 air strikes on Lobkove, Novoandriivka and Novodarivka,
- 198 drones of various modifications attacked Bilenke, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodarivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka and Poltavka,
- 5 MLRS attacks on Robotyne, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka and Novodarivka,
- 97 artillery attacks were made on the territory of Malokaterynivka, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Novodarivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Poltavka and Preobrazhenka.
"We received 10 reports of destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure," adds the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Yesterday evening, August 20, Russian troops shelled Malokaterynivka for the second time in 24 hours.
This happened a few hours after a children's cafe in the village was hit.
