Russian strike on Kyiv region: State Emergency Service releases footage of aftermath

In the Brovary district of the Kyiv region, rescuers have completely extinguished the fires that broke out as a result of a Russian drone attack, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service (DSNS).
Fires at logistics facilities extinguished
Emergency workers extinguished all fires at logistics facilities in the region.
Specialists are currently continuing to dismantle and douse the damaged structures.
Specialized aircraft from Ukraine's State Emergency Service were deployed to fight the blaze.
The crews carried out 17 water drops, releasing a total of 34 tons of water.

Difficult working conditions
Extinguishing the fires was significantly complicated by constant air raid alerts.
Due to the risk of further strikes, personnel were forced to temporarily halt operations and take shelter, then return to clearing the aftermath once the all-clear was given.

Units of the State Emergency Service from the Kyiv region and Kyiv, as well as additional forces from other regions of Ukraine, were involved in the operations.
Russian attacks on Kyiv and the region
Russian forces carried out another massive attack on Ukraine overnight and in the morning of August 12. According to the Air Force, the enemy used a ballistic missile, Kh-31P and Kh-35 guided missiles, as well as 138 strike drones.
During the enemy attack, loud explosions were heard in Kyiv, where air defense forces were repelling a drone attack from several directions.
In addition, the Brovary district of the Kyiv region came under another Russian strike. A Russian strike hit logistics warehouses there, sparking a large-scale fire.
