On August 12, Russians launched a new attack on the Kyiv region and once again struck the Brovary district, according to Viktoriia Ruban, spokesperson for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kyiv region.

"Warehouses are on fire in the Brovary district following a Russian attack," Ruban said.

According to her, emergency responders have already begun extinguishing the fire.

The State Emergency Service has not yet reported on any other consequences of the Russian strikes.

At 10:49 a.m. Kyiv time, Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, stated the matter.

He confirmed that on the morning of August 12, the Russians attacked the region with strike drones.

"A fire broke out in warehouse buildings in the Brovary district as a result of the Russian attack. Unfortunately, a 65-year-old man was injured," Tkachenko clarified.

The civilian sustained shrapnel wounds and has already been hospitalized. He is receiving all necessary medical care.

"The air raid alert is still in effect. I urge everyone to remain in safe locations. More detailed information will follow," the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration emphasizes.
