Russian strike on Kyiv on September 7

From the evening until 5 a.m. Kyiv time on September 7, Russia was attacking Kyiv with drones. Local authorities immediately reported the destruction of 4 high-rise buildings: one on the left bank and three on the right. The most damage was done to a 9-story building in the Sviatoshinskyi district, where several floors were destroyed.

After the drone attack, Russian cruise missiles struck Kyiv at around 6 a.m.

As a result of the Russian strikes on Kyiv on September 7, the Cabinet of Ministers building was damaged for the first time since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.

In addition to Kyiv, other Ukrainian cities were also under Russian attack on September 7, including Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, and Poltava. Russian strikes on Sunday night were the most massive in terms of the number of drones. For more details on the consequences of the Russian attack, read the RBC-Ukraine's report.
