For the first time since the start of the war, the Russian army attacked the Cabinet of Ministers building, causing a fire. Rescue services are working at the scene, according to the Telegram channel of Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

"Last night, Russia carried out another massive strike on Ukraine. Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Kremenchuk, and Odesa came under fire. For the first time, as a result of an enemy attack, the Government building was damaged — its roof and upper floors. Rescuers are extinguishing the fire. I thank them for their work," Svyrydenko noted.

She also emphasized that all buildings will be restored, but lost lives cannot be returned.

"The world must respond to this destruction not just with words, but with actions. Sanctions pressure must be intensified — primarily against Russian oil and gas. New restrictions are needed that will hit the Kremlin’s war machine," the Prime Minister added.

Judging by the published photos, a State Emergency Service helicopter was deployed to extinguish the fire.
