Record-breaking Russian drone attacks and Cabinet strike: Latest updates from Ukraine’s cities

According to the Air Force, last night the enemy carried out 823 aerial attacks:

810 Shahed attack drones and various types of decoy UAVs from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), Hvardiiske, and Chauda (Crimea);

9 Iskander-K cruise missiles from the Kursk region;

4 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Crimea.
Air defense systems shot down 751 enemy targets — 747 Shahed and decoy UAVs of various types, as well as 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles.
"The impacts of 9 missiles and 56 attack UAVs were recorded across 37 locations, with debris from shot-down targets falling in 8 locations," the Air Force reported.
Kyiv
As a result of the attack on the capital, damage was recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi, and Pecherskyi districts. So far, two people have been reported dead and 20 injured, including police officers.
It is also known that one of the fatalities was a child.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a 16-story building was hit. A fire also broke out in a nine-story building, affecting the sixth through ninth floors, causing partial collapse of the floor structures.
Last night, the Russian forces attacked the Cabinet of Ministers building for the first time since the beginning of the war, causing a fire. Rescue teams are working at the scene. Judging by photos from the site, a State Emergency Service (DSNS) helicopter was deployed to help extinguish the fire.
"For the first time, the Government building has been damaged by an enemy attack — the roof and upper floors. Rescue teams are putting out the fire. I thank them for their work," said Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
Odesa
Last night in Odesa, a high-rise building and the Sports Palace were damaged during the attack, with three people injured.
Fires in a nine-story building, a warehouse, and a car have been extinguished by rescue teams. However, their work was complicated by repeated air raid alerts.
Kryvyi Rih
Last night, the city was hit by several waves of attacks. During the first wave, the enemy struck residential buildings and transport and city infrastructure with missiles. A few hours later, the Russian forces launched another missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, hitting an infrastructure facility that had already been damaged during the first wave.
Kremenchuk
Last night in Kremenchuk, the Russian forces struck the Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian railways) bridge over the Dnipro River. It is worth noting that this bridge is of national importance, as the Kriukiv Bridge connects the left and right banks of the city. Two national highways pass over it.
The nearest bridge over the Dnipro from it is in Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad region, 27 kilometers away.
Also, dozens of explosions were reported in the city last night. Part of Kremenchuk is currently without electricity.
