Russian strike knocks out power in Izium, Kharkiv region overnight

Last night, a significant part of the Izium district, including the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region, was left without electricity. The cause was shelling by Russian forces, according to the Telegram channel of the Izium District Militar Administration.
"At night, as a result of enemy shelling, a significant part of the Izium district lost power, and the city of Izium was also left without electricity," the report says.
As of now, energy workers are already carrying out power restoration work in the community, and partial results have been achieved.
“Water supply and sewage systems in the city are already operating on the main power supply. We thank everyone and remain hopeful,” the city military administration added.
Attack on the Kharkiv region
Russian forces regularly shell the Kharkiv region, using drones, missiles, and aerial bombs.
For example, on the evening of July 17, Izium was attacked by drones. It was soon confirmed that a drone hit an industrial area, causing a fire.
Additionally, on the morning of July 18, the Russian forces struck Chuhuiv. As a result of the shelling, residential buildings, a family doctor’s clinic, and a school were damaged, and there were reports of four people injured.
