On the morning of July 18, Russian forces launched a strike on Chuhuiv. The attack caused damage and left several people injured, according to the Chuhuiv Mayor Halyna Minayeva.

She reported that the strike occurred at around 4:40 AM Kyiv time, targeting one of the city’s residential neighborhoods.

"This time, four people were injured and are already receiving medical assistance. Residential buildings, a family doctor’s office, and an educational institution were damaged," Minayeva wrote.

The mayor added that emergency services had already arrived at the scene to deal with the aftermath of the attack.

Overnight Russian attacks

Ukrainian Air Force units detected drones in the skies over the Kharkiv region during the night. Explosions were heard in Izium.

Later, the Izium City Military Administration confirmed that a drone strike hit an industrial area within the community, causing a fire. No casualties were reported.

Additionally, Russian forces launched at least nine Shahed drones at the Zaporizhzhia district overnight. The attack caused fires, destroyed non-residential buildings, and left one person injured.
