Russians attack Zaporizhzhia suburbs with 9 drones: damage reported, one injured

Russians launched strike drones on the Zaporizhzhia region. In the suburbs of the regional center, damage and fires were reported in non-residential buildings, according to Zaporizhzhia Regional Administration Head Ivan Fedorov.
He noted that during the night, Russian forces attacked the Zaporizhzhia district with at least nine Shahed drones.
"As a result of the attack, fires broke out and non-residential buildings were destroyed. Fortunately, there were no casualties," Fedorov wrote.
At 5:27 AM Kyiv time, he later reported that a 79-year-old man was injured in the attack on the Zaporizhzhia district. Medical personnel provided him with all necessary assistance.
In the early hours of July 18, Russian drones targeted Zaporizhzhia. Explosions were heard in the city amid an active air defense response.
The previous large-scale drone attack on the Zaporizhzhia region occurred during the night of July 14–15. The air raid alert in the region lasted for over 16 continuous hours.
