Russian strike in Lviv region kills entire family

On the night of October 5, Russia carried out the most massive combined strike on Lviv region since the start of the full-scale war. A family was killed, according to the Lviv regional prosecutor's office.
As a result of the enemy strike in the village of Lapaivka, a residential building was destroyed. A family of four, including a 15-year-old girl, died under the rubble. Another family member and two women from neighboring houses were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity, while three victims received medical assistance on site.
Strikes were also recorded on industrial and energy facilities in Lviv and the surrounding region. Prosecutors, investigators, explosives experts, and specialists are working at the sites to document the consequences of the attacks.
Under the procedural supervision of the Lviv regional prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of the laws and customs of war, resulting in the death of people.
