Shelling of Kherson and the region
Russian forces continue to attack Kherson and the surrounding region despite their withdrawal in the fall of 2022.
Kherson remains one of the hottest spots on the map of enemy shelling.
Although there is no active frontline in the city, occupying forces regularly target residential neighborhoods, killing civilians and destroying infrastructure.
It is worth recalling that on the outskirts of Kherson, an enemy strike drone attacked a civilian car during the night.
Two people were injured. Recently, the Russian army also targeted rescuers who were working to eliminate the consequences of a previous attack in Kherson.
Additionally, on July 25, Russian forces struck medical workers in Kherson with a drone during the day, resulting in casualties.
