Russian forces carried out an airstrike on a five-storey residential building in Dobropillia. As a result of the attack, a man was trapped under the rubble, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.

As rescuers noted, they began extracting the man from under the rubble despite the constant threat of another strike by Russian forces.

Employees of the State Emergency Service found the injured man among the debris on the third floor, freed him, provided medical assistance, and handed him over to ambulance doctors.

Rescuers urged Ukrainians not to put themselves in danger and to evacuate in time from areas that are under constant strikes by Russian forces.

Attacks on apartment buildings

Russian forces have repeatedly carried out missile and drone strikes on residential apartment buildings. The settlements that suffer the most from such attacks are those located near the front line, as they are within range of Russian artillery, FPV drones, guided aerial bombs, and other weapons.

In addition, Russian drones and missiles are increasingly striking civilian targets in regional centers. For example, on October 26, Sumy was attacked — a drone hit the roof of a residential building.

According to official data, a woman was injured as a result of the strike and was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.

Such incidents occur regularly. For instance, on October 16, a Russian drone fell near an apartment building. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported at that time.

Russian forces have also been targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure for more than a month, leading to electricity supply problems across the country. Today, November 4, scheduled power outages are in effect in certain regions.
