On the night of October 12, Russian drones attacked the city of Chuhuiv, damaging a school, vehicles, and apartment buildings. Five people were injured, including a 12-year-old girl, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, on October 12, around 1:00 a.m., Russian armed forces struck Chuhuiv using four attack drones, reportedly of the “Geran-2” type. The attack caused damage to:

  • A school

  • Vehicles

  • Windows in apartment buildings

Five people – two women, two men, and a 12-year-old girl – experienced acute stress reactions.

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, are taking all necessary measures to document war crimes committed by Russian forces.

Attack on Ukraine on October 12

It should be noted that on the night of Sunday, October 12, the Russian army launched over 100 attack drones and one Kh-31 missile across Ukraine.

RBC-Ukraine reported on how Ukraine's air defense targeted the enemy’s assets.

It is also worth noting that as a result of Russian shelling, the Donetsk region was completely left without electricity, as the enemy struck energy infrastructure facilities in the area.

Meanwhile, in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, restoration work continues after the night attack by Russian drones, which damaged critical infrastructure.
