Russian forces struck Siversk in the Donetsk region on the morning of June 18. The city council building, where residents received humanitarian aid, was destroyed in the attack, said Oleksii Vorobyov, head of the Siversk City Military Administration.

He said Russian forces hit the Siversk city council building with an aerial bomb. At the time of the attack, no one was inside, so there were no casualties.

"The building is 90% destroyed - they used guided bombs, and the structures collapsed. No one was hurt; there was a guard who hid in a safe place," Vorobyov said.

He noted that in recent years, the city council building served as a humanitarian aid distribution point for Siversk residents. Due to the Russian strike, the location will be changed, but its new address will not be publicly disclosed.

The new humanitarian aid point is expected to open next week, likely on June 23.
