Russian strike destroys major logistics hub near Kyiv

A Russian strike during the overnight attack on July 19 hit a logistics hub in the Kyiv region, sparking a massive fire, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES).
The targeted logistics center is believed to have been the AMTEL facility in the Bucha district.
According to preliminary information, two people were injured in the attack.
At around 10:30 a.m. local time, firefighters brought the massive blaze under control. The fire engulfed two warehouse buildings, covering a total area of about 100,000 square meters (1.08 million square feet).

More than 200 firefighters, 73 emergency vehicles, and three helicopters were deployed to contain the fire.
Russian attack on Ukraine on July 19
As previously reported, Russia launched 41 missiles and 125 attack drones against Ukraine overnight on July 19. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted most of the incoming targets, including nearly all of the ballistic missiles.
Kyiv was the main target of the attack. Residential buildings were damaged and fires broke out in several districts of the capital.
One person was killed and 15 others were reported injured.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that the UKRTAC company's plant and warehouses were completely destroyed in the Russian missile strike on Kyiv.
