Russian shelling of Ukraine: Police report number of victims
The death toll in Ukraine as a result of today's Russian massive attack has risen to 18. 132 people were injured, according to the National Police of Ukraine.
According to the police, as of 13:00, 18 people were killed and 132 wounded in Ukraine. 51 enemy attacks were recorded.
Data by region
- Dnipro: 5 people were killed and 28 injured. Among the dead are a child and a policeman.
- Kharkiv region: 3 people were killed and 13 injured.
- Zaporizhzhia region: 4 people were killed and 12 injured.
- Odesa: 2 people were killed, 27 injured. There may be people under the rubble.
- Lviv: 1 person was killed, 24 injured.
- Kyiv: 3 people were, 22 injured. One person was also injured in the Kyiv region.
In total, 47 private houses, 39 cars, a hospital and sanatorium, 9 apartment buildings, two administrative buildings, outbuildings, a service station, a garage cooperative, a gas station, a warehouse, a school, a church, a shopping center, and a maternity hospital were damaged.
Russian massive attack
Russian terrorists attacked Ukraine with missiles and kamikaze drones during the night. Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhny says that the Russians fired 158 missiles of various types and attack drones. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 27 Shaheds and 87 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles.
