Zelenskyy's reaction

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has released a video showing the aftermath of the enemy attack and noted that Russia targeted almost everything in its arsenal. As previously stated by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy used nearly everything from its arsenal, except for the Kalibr cruise missiles.

"Maternity hospital, educational institutions, shopping center, multi-story buildings, private houses, commercial warehouse, parking area. Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and other cities. Today, Russia struck almost everything it has in its arsenal: Kinzhals, S-300, cruise missiles, UAVs. Strategic bombers launched X-101/X-505," wrote Zelenskyy.

The head of state also promised a response to terrorists for their attacks.

Ukraine's attack began with the strike of Shahed drones. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 18 out of 22 drones that the enemy used late yesterday.

After that, during the current day, Russian occupiers resorted to missile and air strikes on Ukraine. Initially, the enemy launched X-22 missiles. Later, Russia used Tu-95 for a massive missile attack on Ukraine (thanks to which the aggressor could launch cruise missiles X-101 and X-555). In addition, it became known that the enemy raised MiG-31K, which can carry Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and make launches, into the air.

The last time the enemy attacked Ukraine using Tu-95 was on December 8, 2023. Russia did it after a 79-day hiatus. The capital was also targeted, and the enemy targeted an infrastructure object in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
