Russian S-400 and S-300 systems hit by Ukrainian forces in Crimea
Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck a Russian S-400 missile division near Dzhankoi, as well as two S-300 missile divisions near Chornomorsk and Yevpatoria overnight on June 10, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Not a single one of our launched missiles was intercepted by the 'highly effective' enemy air defense," the report says.
According to the General Staff, immediately after the strikes by Ukrainian rocketeers, the radar systems of the S-300/S-400 complexes ceased operation. Additionally, further detonation of munitions was observed in all three areas of the Russian anti-aircraft missile divisions' launch positions.
"Thanks to the successful combat work of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces, the Russian occupiers in Ukrainian Crimea suffered significant losses," the report says.
As previously reported by RBC-Ukraine, powerful explosions were heard overnight on June 10 in several areas of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Explosions were reported in Yevpatoria, as well as in the Saky and Dzhankoi districts.
At the end of May, Ukrainian Defense Forces targeted the Kerch ferry crossing and sank one of the ferries, disrupting the logistics of the occupiers in Crimea.
