Ukraine's Forces hit Kerch ferry crossing with ATACMS missiles: Footage and details of aftermath
Last night, on May 30, the Ukrainian military launched ATACMS missiles at the Kerch ferry crossing, which was actively used by the enemy to supply its troop formations in the temporarily occupied Crimea, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"It is worth noting that this target was protected by 'modern' Russian air defense systems—Pantsir, Tor, and Triumf. However, missiles that have been in service since the 1990s successfully penetrated the invaders' 'newest' air defense shield," reported the General Staff.
According to the military, the strike caused significant damage to two ferries that carried out rail and road transportation.
One of the ferries ran aground, blocking the entire Kerch ferry crossing.
The General Staff emphasized that the successful combat operation by Ukrainian missile forces had severely disrupted the Russian military logistics on the peninsula.
It should be noted that on the night of May 30, Ukrainian intelligence also struck two Russian boats in Crimea.
