Russian overnight attack damages administrative buildings and trams across Kyiv

Kyiv experienced another missile attack on the night of July 8. As a result of the enemy attack, fires broke out in two districts of the capital, and there are known casualties, according to the Telegram of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to emergency officials, fires broke out today as a result of the Russian missile strike in the Desnianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts. In particular:
- In the Sviatoshynskyi district, an administrative building and warehouse facilities caught fire. Two people were injured, one of whom was hospitalized;
- At another location, a garage cooperative was on fire, but the blaze had already been extinguished. The attack also damaged an administrative building and trams;
- In the Desnianskyi district, warehouse facilities were on fire.
"Currently, fires at all other locations have been contained. Rescuers and all relevant services are working at the scene. Information regarding casualties and the injured is being clarified," the State Emergency Service summarized.

Attacks on Kyiv
This morning, Russian forces twice attempted to attack the capital with drones. As a result, the air raid alert was announced twice in the city, and after the first signal, explosions were heard in Kyiv.
The last combined Russian attack on Kyiv occurred on the night of July 6. At that time, the enemy launched drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles at the capital.
As a result of the attack, consequences were recorded in several districts of the city — namely, many residential buildings, non-residential buildings, and other structures were partially destroyed. In addition, there were deaths and injuries.
Search and rescue operations were only completed yesterday, July 7.
