Russian oil depot in Krasnodar region catches fire after Ukrainian drone attack

On the night of September 28, residents of Novotitarovskaya in Russia's Krasnodar region reported drones flying overhead and multiple explosions. According to eyewitnesses, the explosions were heard "near the railway," ASTRA reported.
ASTRA analyzed footage recorded by eyewitnesses after the overnight attack. According to open-source intelligence analysts, the footage shows a fire on the premises of the oil depot belonging to the Krasnodar company Edelweiss-95 LLC.
The company is engaged in the wholesale trade of petroleum products. Its main activities include supplying Euro 5 diesel fuel and AI-92, AI-95, and AI-100 gasoline.
The oil depot is reported to have a capacity of about 4,500 cubic meters. The facility also has its own railway siding, which is used to receive and dispatch fuel.
This allows the company to receive and ship petroleum products by rail.

What is known about Edelweiss-95
The Edelweiss-95 website states that the company has been selling fuel for about 30 years. The company also says that it purchases petroleum products directly from Russia's largest oil refineries.
According to the company's website, its own oil depot allows it to quickly receive the full range of products and dispatch them within one business day.
Russia's Krasnodar region is regularly targeted by drone attacks. Ukrainian drones have repeatedly attacked oil refining facilities located there.
In particular, on the night of September 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Ilsky oil refinery. A fire broke out on the facility's premises after the strike.
The Ilsky oil refinery can process about 6.6 million tonnes of oil per year.
