The rescue operation at the sites of Russian strikes and falling debris continues. So far, 4 people have been killed and more than 15 wounded, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“The rescue operation continues at the sites of hits and falling debris in the regions of Ukraine that were under Russian attack last night. All services are involved, and the rubble is being dismantled,” the President writes.

Zelenskyy adds that despite the effective work of air defense:

  • 4 people were killed;
  • 16 were injured.

“We will respond to this and all other Russian strikes. Crimes against humanity cannot be committed with impunity,” the President says.

Russian night attack on Ukraine on August 27

For the second day in a row, Russia massively shells Ukraine with drones and missiles of various types.

On the night of August 27, the Russians struck Ukraine with 91 missiles and drones:

  • 3 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles
  • 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile
  • 1 Iskander-M cruise missile;
  • 5 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
  • 81 Shahed drones.

In total, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 5 Kh-101 cruise missiles and 60 UAVs.

Russia also attacked Kryvyi Rih overnight. During the shelling, Russians hit a hotel, resulting in deaths and injuries.
