Russian missile hits residential building in Kyiv
During a massive Russian missile strike on Ukraine, debris was recorded falling in two districts of Kyiv. A multi-story building caught fire, said Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv Military Administration.
"The fall of debris was also recorded in the Podilskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts of the capital. Preliminaryly, there is a fire in a residential multi-story building. Information is being clarified," he writes.
In addition, there is a fire in the Podilskyi district on the territory of warehouses. "There are preliminary injuries. Information is being clarified. Emergency services are on their way to the scene," the statement says.
Russian massive strike on Ukraine
On the morning of December 29, Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine from strategic aviation.
Missiles were reported to have landed in Kharkiv, and drones were reported to have hit Lviv. There were also explosions in Kyiv and Dnipro.
In Kyiv, after the explosions, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced intensive air defense operations.
