A Russian missile strike destroyed a Ukrposhta branch in Kyiv during overnight attacks on August 28, reports Ukrposhta Chief Executive Officer Igor Smelyansky.

The destroyed branch was located in the Berezniaky district on Kyiv’s left bank.

"After the latest strike, the Ukrposhta branch 02098, which was located in Kyiv at 4A Shumskyi Street, no longer exists. An enemy missile completely destroyed it," the statement said.

According to Smelyansky, almost all parcels in the branch survived. They are now being kept at branch 02152, located at 13A Ivan Mykolaichuk Street.

"We will contact every client separately to provide information, and of course, we will compensate for the small number of parcels that were damaged in the strike. As always, we will later present the bill to Russia," the CEO added.
