Russian missile attack on Kyiv region: Aftermath revealed
Today, on October 7, Russia attacked Ukraine with 3 Kinzhal ballistic missiles. In one of the districts of Kyiv region, private houses were damaged and more, according to the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
As of 11:30 a.m. Kyiv time, as mentioned above, in one of the districts of the Kyiv region, damage was recorded to:
- 3 private houses
- 1 warehouse;
- 2 cars.

Russian shelling of Ukraine on October 7
Today, on October 7, at 8:26 Kyiv time, an air alert was declared in Ukraine. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded the takeoff of a Russian MiG-31K aircraft, after which it became known that fast targets were approaching Kyiv and Starokostiantyniv. Soon after, an explosion was heard in the capital, and the Kyiv City State Administration reported that air defense was being activated.
In Kyiv, the Russian shelling caused debris to fall in several districts:
- Solomianskyi district - shrapnel damaged the roof of a multi-story residential building; one piece of shrapnel fell on the territory of a school, others fell in the open;
- Holosiivskyi district - a fragment fell on the roof of a car;
- Shevchenkivskyi district - debris fell on an open area.
In particular, it was reported that a rocket hit the Starokostiantyniv airfield in Khmelnytskyi region.
