Russian missile attack on Khmelnytskyi region: Death toll rises
The death toll from the Russian missile attack on January 8 has risen to three, according to Khmelnytskyi Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn.
"Unfortunately, another victim was found as a result of rescue operations," Symchyshyn writes.
As of now, three people were killed and two others were injured in yesterday's Russian missile attack.
The head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhii Tiurin, says that the search for the third victim had been going on until 5:42 this morning. It is a man born in 1955.
Currently, the dismantling of the facility's structures and the elimination of the consequences of the missile strike have been completed.

On the morning of January 8, an air alert was declared in Ukraine. The Air Force reported the takeoff of a MiG-31K. Explosions were heard in Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia, and air defense was operating in the Khmelnytskyi region.
Later it became known that the Russians had hit infrastructure facilities in the Khmelnytskyi region. Earlier it was reported that two people were killed in the attack.
