A Russian drone was found in one of the districts of Moldova on the morning of January 17. It turned out to be a Gerbera, a decoy drone without explosives, according to the Moldovan police.
The police said the drone was found in the morning near the village of Nucăreni in the Telenești district. Law enforcement officers and experts arrived at the scene to inspect the drone.
"It was determined that this was a Gerbera model, like the ones recently found in our country. It does not contain explosives and poses no danger to citizens. We remind everyone that if such an object is found, never approach it or touch it," the statement said.
The police also shared photos of that drone. It was found by a local hunter, who immediately reported it to the authorities.
