Russian forces use double-strike tactic during shelling of Kharkiv region
Russian troops launched a double strike with ballistic missiles on Zlatopil in the Kharkiv region on Tuesday, December 10. The shelling caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure, reports the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
"There were three strikes. It was ballistic. Law enforcement and the military are still determining the exact type of missiles. Civilian infrastructure was seriously damaged. This is practically the center of the settlement, where banks, administrative buildings, and residential houses are located," said Syniehubov.
According to him, ten people were injured. One woman is in serious condition, five people were hospitalized with moderate injuries, two are in mild condition, and two more victims received medical assistance on the spot.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that the Russian forces used a double-strike tactic.
"Initially, there was one strike, and after some time, when emergency services arrived at the scene to eliminate the consequences, there were two more missile strikes. The enemy aims to inflict maximum damage on civilian services, units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and emergency medical services. They are targeting civilian objects," Syniehubov stated.
Shelling of Zlatopil
Earlier, it was reported that Russia launched two missile strikes on the city of Zlatopil in the Lozova district of the Kharkiv region today.
The first strike hit near a bank, while the second targeted an administrative building.
As a result of the strike near the bank, several non-residential buildings and civilian vehicles were damaged.
The second strike by Russia hit an administrative building, causing further destruction and injuries among the civilian population.
Initially, it was reported that five people were injured in the Russian attack. Later, the number of injured increased to ten.
