Attacks on Ukraine
On the night of December 8, Russian drones attacked the Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Chernihiv regions. The attacks damaged residential buildings, caused fires and infrastructure destruction, and injured civilians.
In particular, that night, the Russian army carried out a series of strikes with attack drones on residential areas of Okhtyrka in the Sumy region.
According to local authorities, drones hit a nine-story residential building, causing apartments from the second to the fifth floor to catch fire.
The fire was complicated by the threat of repeated strikes, which forced rescuers to suspend operations several times temporarily.
In Chernihiv, a drone exploded near one of the buildings during the night, blowing out windows, causing a fire, and injuring people.
