Russian forces shell Kherson region again, one fatality reported
Russian forces once again shelled the Kherson region, resulting in the death of a woman, according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Russian aviation struck Kozatske village.
"The enemy struck residential buildings again. In one of the houses hit by a guided bomb, an 80-year-old woman lived," the report stated.
As a result of the Russian shelling, the woman was killed under the rubble of her own home.
Shelling of Kherson and the region
After the de-occupation of the right bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, Russian forces have been actively shelling the region from the opposite bank, predominantly using artillery and guided bombs.
Today, the occupiers shelled Kherson, resulting in the death of four people and leaving 17 others injured.
On July 29, a 69-year-old woman was injured in the village of Vesele due to an attack.
The following day, the occupiers shelled a residential house in the village of Novodmytrivka, Kherson region, and a 33-year-old woman was injured.
Moreover, during the past 24 hours, Russian forces conducted 68 strikes on the Kherson region, five people were injured.
