The Russian army is attempting to intensify offensive actions near Lyman in the Donetsk region. Russian forces are deploying additional assault units from the 283rd and 488th motorized rifle regiments there, according to the Defense Intelligence.

However, under the strikes of the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces, some Russian assault groups have suffered heavy losses and lost combat capability.

"Demoralized Russian invaders are refusing to go into battle, complaining about the lack of reliable shelters from Ukrainian drones. To continue offensive actions, the command of the occupying forces is using methods of pressure, coercion, and intimidation. Lightly wounded invaders are being thrown into 'meat-grinder' assaults," the statement reads.

Situation on the frontline

In the past day, October 27, there were 144 combat engagements along the front line. The most intense fighting was recorded in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions.
