Russian forces have intensified attempts to bypass Ukrainian positions near Malokaterynivka and adjacent areas, including near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and the town of Kamianka-Dniprovska, according to the spokesperson for Ukraine's Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.

"Several enemy groups tried to bypass our positions through reed thickets and to move in from the western flank," Voloshyn said.

According to him, Russian troops are also trying to infiltrate along the bottom of the former Kakhovka Reservoir, using vegetation for cover. The goal of such actions is to approach Ukrainian units and take them in the rear quickly.

"Similar attempts are being recorded near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and the settlement of Kamianka-Dniprovska," the Southern Defense Forces representative added.
