The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that tens of thousands of consumers were left without electricity due to a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, according to his Telegram post.

“Nearly 58,000 subscribers have been left without power due to the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia,” the message stated.

Fedorov added that energy workers will restore power as soon as the security situation allows.

Attack on Zaporizhzhia

On the night of November 2, Russian forces attempted to attack Zaporizhzhia. The head of the Regional Military Administration reported that the region faced threats from drones and ballistic missiles.

He later clarified that the enemy attack damaged the residential sector. In addition, at least two people were injured as a result of the assault.
