Russian forces encounter major setbacks along Kupiansk-Svatove line, Ukraine's General Staff reports
Russian military forces suffer significant losses in the Kupiansk direction, while the occupiers near Svatove complain about poor provisions, reports to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Kupiansk direction
The General Staff reports that on the Kupiansk direction, some servicemen of the Russian occupying forces complain about continuous losses in manpower due to unsuccessful offensive actions and claim an unwillingness to continue them.
"The extremely low quality of recruits is noted - mostly individuals of older age who have problems with alcohol, drugs, gambling, etc.," the report says.
Among the servicemen of the Russian occupying forces, there is a prevailing belief that the leadership intentionally sends them on cannon fodder assaults, disregarding the losses.
Svatove direction
Additionally, inadequate rear support for the occupier units is noted in the Svatove direction. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that servicemen from one of the Russian Federation units complain about poor provision of winter clothing, food, water, etc.
