Private residential homes and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged and destroyed as a result of the attacks.

Frontlines situation

The situation on the fronts in the east and south of Ukraine remains challenging.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there haven't been significant changes. There are no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups.

Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are fulfilling tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence near the border, conducts reconnaissance activities, fires on populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the Ukrainian state border.

Approximately 15 populated areas, including Yanzhulivka and Arkhipivka in the Chernihiv region, Znob-Novhorodske and Basivka in the Sumy region, Kozacha Lopan and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, experienced enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted assaults in the areas of Synkivka and Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region, but these were repelled by defense forces. Areas such as Synkivka, Kucherivka, Pershotravneve, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, and Krokhmalne in the Kharkiv region were under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, there were no offensive actions by the enemy. They carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Serebrianivskyi forestry in the Luhansk region and Spirne in the Donetsk region. Nearly 15 populated areas, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Vyiimka, Vesele, Pereizne, and Fedorivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from artillery and mortar fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian forces repelled ten attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivka, Klishiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted aviation strikes in the area of Klishiivka in the Donetsk region. More than ten populated areas, including Bohdanivka, Ivanivka, Klishiivka, Andriivka, Pivdenne, and New York in the Donetsk region, were under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, unsuccessfully conducted assault actions east of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where over 30 attacks were repelled by defense forces. About 15 populated areas, including Keramik, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Tonenke, Severne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, suffered from artillery and mortar fire.

In the Maryinka direction, despite aerial support, the aggressors' attempted assaults in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful, with nine attacks repelled by defense forces. Around ten populated areas in the Donetsk region, including Krasnohorivka, Kurakhivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka, were under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy didn't conduct offensive actions but shelled approximately ten populated areas, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, with artillery and mortars.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy attempted unsuccessfully five times to regain lost positions near Robotyne and Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Ukrainian counteoffenisve

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

The defense forces maintain positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region and continue to engage the enemy.

Extraordinary events

In an extraordinary turn of events, some servicemen of the Russian occupying forces in the Kupiansk direction have reported constant losses in personnel due to unsuccessful offensive actions and expressed reluctance to continue such operations.

There's a significant note regarding the extremely low quality of new recruits, mostly elderly individuals dealing with issues related to alcohol, drugs, gambling, and so forth. Among the servicemen of the Russian occupying forces, there's a belief that the leadership deliberately sends them on cannon fodder assaults, disregarding the losses incurred.

Additionally, there's information that in the occupied city of Mariupol, Russian servicemen, former prisoners, killed their commander due to his constant threats, abuse, and killing of other occupiers.

Furthermore, in the Svatove direction, there's dissatisfaction with the inadequate logistical support for the occupier units. Servicemen from one of the Russian Federation units report poor supply of winter clothing, food, water, etc.

Enemy losses

During the day, the Ukrainian defense aviation conducted nine strikes on the concentration areas of personnel, armaments, and military equipment of the enemy.

Missile troops units targeted two concentration areas of personnel, armaments, military equipment, and a logistics center of the enemy.

To recap, the total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounts to 322,900 military personnel.
