Russian forces deployed carrier of cruise missiles Kalibr to Black Sea
The Russian military has put the missile-carrying frigate Admiral Makarov with Kalibr cruise missiles on board on combat duty, according to the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine.
Onboard the frigate, there are 8 Kalibr cruise missiles ready for launch. The level of missile threat to Ukraine has significantly increased.
Change in tactics of Russian naval attacks
The Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine have reported that the Russian army has begun to use fewer sea-launched cruise missiles Kalibr for shelling Ukraine.
The reason behind this is the enemy's inability to provide a logistical base for equipping ships with missiles of this type in the port of Novorossiysk. Most of the vessels of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were relocated there after losses and damages to ships in Sevastopol Bay due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian military forces have disabled approximately 33% of the Russian Federation's Black Sea Fleet.
